The State of Data Science in 2019
And How to Overcome the Talent Shortage

Last year, a workforce report from LinkedIn stated the demand for data scientists was “off the charts” and found there were over 150,000 jobs requiring data science skills that remained unfilled across the U.S! As you are probably aware, the current data science talent shortage is significant.

However, our 2019 State of Data Science survey (answered by nearly 5,000 members of the Anaconda community) showed us that many people across disciplines are in the process of acquiring data science skills.

Watch this on-demand webinar with Anaconda’s Chief Technology Officer, Peter Wang, and Maria Khalusova, Developer Advocate at JetBrains. We’ll discuss the results of our 2019 survey and how the data science talent shortage will be addressed.
